Islamic Relief Canada - NL Chapter is delighted to host a Tatreez workshop, led by Sarah Khraishi, a Palestinian-Canadian from St. John’s! 🇵🇸🍉

“Tatreez” (تطريز) is traditional Palestinian embroidery 🪡 , recognized by UNESCO as part of the intangible cultural heritage of Palestine. This beginner-friendly workshop will explore the history, significance and practice of tatreez as a symbol of Palestinian identity and liberation. 🧵✊🏼

Join us for an authentic Palestinian experience, complete with tea ☕️ and delicious Baklava from Safaa’s Kitchen! All materials needed for the workshop will be provided. ✨

This event is ticketed at $15 per person, with all proceeds going towards “Charity Week” for orphan sponsorships around the world.
