Palestine Action YYT has held (or participated in) several fundraisers since November of 2023, both in St. John’s and across the Island.

We acknowledge that this is a land that has born witness to genocide and occupation. Newfoundland, as it is know colonially, was the land of the Beothuk who were victims of a complete genocide. Ktaqmkuk is the unceded and unsurrendered land of the Mi’kmaq peoples. We also wish to acknowledge the Inuit and Innu of Labrador. We acknowledge the demand–land back. With this acknowledgement, we commit to resisting genocide, settler colonialism, and occupation everywhere: on Turtle Island, in Palestine and beyond.
